Sona, possibly the best support

She's free this week, played 3 games so far - won all 3 games.

She definitely turns the tides of all team fights.

A new jungle?

Amongst other things, the jungle in LOL will be changed in the upcoming patch.

Each camp will provide a buff, the monsters will be easier early game, and the rewards will scale with level.

Your views on Tryndamere

So I played a game as Tryndamere, first game in what seems centuries.
I pulled off the following score; for which I got a lot of grief.

Do you think that this champion is overpowered, a noob unskilled champion, or just an ordinary champion?

I admit I hate fighting against a fed Tryndamere, but I am interested in what other people think too

Wow, Shyvana

She's free.

She is TOO fun to play.

This game was a 4v5 for the last 20 minutes or so too, so it was pretty impressive that we won (especially as enemy Trynadamere could take me down in about 2 seconds)

Playing as Teemo is a mushroom gamble

Teemo has been free this week, and he's the only champion I have played as from the free rotation.

It's like a little casino of mushrooms when playing as Teemo, gambling where to put them.

Carefully placed mushrooms can pay off, and I have got randoms kills via mushrooms exploding on fleeing champions.

Maxed out Teemo

Today was the first time I played Teemo, and I can see why people enjoy playing as them.

I used to be really frustrated by Teemo while playing as Yi due to his blind, plus their mushrooms.

This was one of my first game as Teemo, which resulted in maxing him out.

Another new champion :)

Riot has just released details over another new champion arriving to the LOL world in the coming week, known as Fizz, the Tidal Strider.

The graphic on the site kinda hints that the champion may have a pet Shark? But I cannot see how that would be implemented into the game, so it's probably just a tease. Still, the recent champions have been amazing to place, such as Shyvana, so I am really excited about the indication of another new champion!

Starting to get dull

So I reached level 30.

I have yet to play a ranked game, but recently i've been playing badly as i've been bored.

I spent IP on runes for Xin, and the rest on Swain. I've got the desire to unlock Katarina.

I just feel bored.

What can I do to spice up my gameplay?

Now and then we are blessed with a Champion sale - this time we have been given the chance to purchase Gragas, Cassiopeia and Skarner for 50% of their original price (very considerable, seeing as the saving is about 30 games worth of IP for Cassiopeia).

Graves, the OP

Does anyone else agree that Graves is currently a tad overpowered?
Immediately, from level 3 in dominion, he often seems to take away about 50% of my health (champion dependant) with just one ability.
I heard he's getting a nerf soon (perhaps todays patch), but he is now part of the free champion rotation - time to give him a whirl to see what the hype is all about.

Do you agree Graves is OP, or if not, who is?

Swaaaaaain

So as I said in my previous post, I unlocked Swain.

Played 3 games with him so far, and this was the best - I managed to get 2 QUADRA kills - that's huge considering my total score was 10 kills.

Played one game - seems really enjoyable.I dont think he has the potential to rack up huge kills like Akali, Yi etc, but we shall see over the next few days!

Also I should be hitting level 30 at last this weekend, huzzah!

I said I would deliver..

Well I said in previous posts that i'll try and get a good game with Akali.

She is actually pretty hard to play, especially when your team is awful. Even though she's an assassin and designed for 1v1, when your team feeds the enemy it becomes god awful to attempt 1v1's.

She is also often targeted to be killed first, so expect a lot of down time.

But here it is, my best score so far with Akali, I believe it's some sort of accomplishment.

MISTS OF PANDARIA HAS BEEN ANNOUNCED!

So Blizzcon was last night, I tuned in right as they announced the trailer.
And.
Oh.
My.
Gosh.

Was so excited. Even though I haven't played since the release of Cata, it was still so exciting to watch.

Will be subscribing again for the expansion (Diablo 3 + WoW for a year for £100 or so? Good deal).

The Harrowing!

The Harrowing is upon us!

This was released yesterday which brought around a few changes. Graves, the Outlaw has been released. I have already played multiple games with this champion fighting by my side, who performed really well.

The Polish League of Legends has been released, so congratulations to you all!

Also, bit the bullet and purchased Akali, see if I can play well with her like I have done with Yi, Xin and Kat. Expect some good scores heading this way soon (hopefully..)

Best champion?

So if you've ever saved up enough IP for a 6,300 champion and not known who to choose, you often Google or browse the LOL forums for which champion to purchase.

Two champions which regularly popped up for being amongst the best champions to purchase were Twitch and Karthus.

Good news if you're still after these champions, as their IP costs have just been reduced!

• Karthus, the Deathsinger, (normally 6300 IP) will be only 3150 IP!
• Twitch, the Plague Rat, (normally 6300 IP) will be only 3150 IP!

Another Katarina update

Katarina is certainly a champion that dominates the Dominion scene with her ultimate, always leading to triple kills. I've yet to earn a quadra or a penta kill in Dominion, but it's only a matter of time.

When I have the time, I will upload the gameplay video to youtube, or perhaps just the highlights.

Addition to Graves

A post ago I mentioned about the new Champion being released known as Graves.

You can find additional information about him here which was released today.

I've got 5k IP, considering the purchase if I end up being killed by him a lot once he's released.

Release of Dominion

So Dominion was released a few weeks back. On the home page of the LOL website you can read a few of the review regarding Dominion.

Personally, I really do enjoy playing Dominion as a bit of a time killer - it's easy to handle when you have a bad team as the games aren't too long. My heart still lies with the original 5v5, where I can rack up the biggest amount of kills.

New Champion

A new champion has been announced - Twisted Fates nemesis, known as Graves, the Outlaw.

I look forward  to this champion being released as it seems they may be a mix between Miss Fortune and Gangplank. Hopefully they'll be an assassin type character as they are the type which I always perform best playing as.

I was tempted to buy Xerath, the new caster released last week, however i'm not at the IP count yet.

At the moment I am using LOLreplay to record my LOL games. When I have a banger, I will use fraps to record parts of the game (as shown in the blog post below), and post it on youtube.

Master Yi is certainly the champion I perform best as, followed by Xin Zhao, so be expected to see quite a few games from these champions.

Sorry I haven't posted in aaaagggeeessss... Been at university.

New champion

I unlocked a new champion known as Renekton.
I will play him for a couple of games/days and hopefully rank up some good scores to post on here.

I know these are unranked games, but still, I liked these scores. I hope that when ranked games do become accessable, that there's more than just the standard two maps to play on and game modes. Really looking forward to the expansion patch Riot are releasing soon.

A welcome message

It's the summer and it's pretty dull, plus i've got into the game League of legends recently so I thought why not create a blog about it?

I don't know what will entail within this blog, but we shall see...
